Harbour Vista Lunch Report OLD FASHION HAMBURGER McDonalds, Jack in the Box and even the Habit, offer only fast food hamburgers-frozen and pre packaged. Sammy’s Burgers Sub & Tacos on the other hand provides a more personal touch. Their burger are larger patties and brings back the old days when a "mom and pop" restaurant made fresh hamburger to order from scratch. Inside Located in the Ralph’s shopping center on Water Avenue right next to Starbucks, Sammy’s Burgers is a "mon and pop" restaurant with simple food and a very clean atmosphere. This restaurant also offer burritos, taco, and subs. Harbour Vista Lunch Report The Public House by Mike Borzi Went to a little restaurant at the Bella Terra called The Public House". Kind of a hipster type bar, with spartan furnishings. Tables were comfortable, bathrooms clean, parking OK. Service was fair, not good, not bad. Choices Food choices were wide, from Pizza, to hamburgers, meat plates, Salads, etc. Prices are a little high, but not extravagant. I had the plain burger and fries. My lunchmate had the short ribs. The taste of the food was XLNT! both plates were very good. They have a bar with a wide variety of beer and drinks. Nice diversion from your standard burger place. Harbour Vista Lunch Report Kitchen Republic by Mike Borzi Went to the Bella Terra today and had lunch at a nice little restaurant called Kitchen Republic. It is located across from The Cheesecake Factory, and despite the location parking was very easy. There was very little crowd this day, so seating was not an issue. They have indoor, and outdoor seating. The service was pleasant and attentive. Bacon Wrapped Dates The menu is rather small, but has a wide variety of choices, and not just your standard fare. They also have soft drinks, beer, wine, and cocktails. We started with an appetizer of bacon wrapped dates, if you have never had them, they are delicious! but they should use pitted dates. I had a cheeseburger that was very good, with a unique flavor, well above your standard burger. My lunch partner had shrimp scampi with pita bread that was also very tasty. Pricing is moderate, especially for the quality of the food. Modern Motif The restaurant has a very modern concrete motif, with very chic wooden tables. The place is clean and neat, somewhat spartan in decor. very much worth going again, they serve lunch and dinner.
