CALL FOR CANDIDANCY

Dear Homeowner:
The Annual Meeting and Election of the Board of Directors for Harbour Vista Homeowners Association will take place on Thursday, November 19, 2026. The purpose of this meeting is for the membership to elect five (5) director(s) to the Board of Directors for a term of one (1) year(s), and to vote on IRS Revenue Ruling 70-604.
If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors for Harbour Vista Homeowners Association, please complete the attached Declaration of Candidacy form. In an effort to assist the membership with voting for the candidates, please include a short statement regarding your qualifications for the position. You may include your employment and educational background as well as previous experience with other homeowner associations.
In accordance with Civil Code, if, at the close of the time period for making nominations, there are the same number or fewer qualified candidates as there are board positions to be filled, then the board of directors may, after voting to do so, seat the qualified candidates by acclamation without balloting.
Please return the completed form to Professional Community Management no later than July 30, 2026 by 5:00 PM to ensure that your information is included in any election solicitation mailing and emailing.

Board of Directors Responsibilities
The Board of Directors is composed of homeowners who volunteer their time to sit on the Board and make the decisions that run the non-profit corporation. Their specific duties are spelled out in Association’s legal documents. These duties include approval of financial statements, corporate minutes, budgets, audits, insurance coverage and maintenance expenditures. The Board of Directors also establishes the rules and regulations and enforces the Association's CC&R's per the adopted violation process.
